50th Anniversary
Brand Development

JCIE USA

(Jan 2025)

The Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE USA) is
an independent, nonpartisan, nongovernmental, nonprofit organization founded in 1975. With staff in New York and Washington DC, they work as a boutique policy organization focusing on US-Japan relations. Their mission is to deepen understanding of Japan within the US policy community
and to facilitate US-Japan collaboration in areas of mutual
interest and need. Client reached out to me for a freelance rebranding project in honor of their 50th anniversary.

The JCIE USA team requested that their new design assets be more visually recognizable in the US-Japan sphere based on color palette. Their last logo kit was created in the 1980s and none of their branding had been updated since.
