I'm Alice Katindig (she/they), a multidisciplinary designer & artist based in the Washington, D.C. (DMV) area. I thrive in diverse, fast-paced environments that allow me to pitch innovative brand strategies and flex my creative problem solving skills. When I make things, I like to spotlight universal design principles, accessibility, and inclusion. Ensuring that a client's voice is well-represented is something I aim to achieve with every project!

Due to my background in anthropology and working abroad, much of my inspiration comes from Filipino(x) and Japanese culture. I also have a soft spot for folk art, textiles, block printing, and weaving. When I'm not designing at my desk, I like to keep my hands busy by experimenting with new mediums. I'm a tinkerer and I love to understand how things work—I am constantly pulling new ideas from my surroundings and implementing them in my own toolkit.

As a child, I grew up running around dusty thrift stores and cluttered antique malls digging for treasure with my family. If I'm not sustainably sourcing secondhand gifts for my loved ones, restoring antique decor, or café hopping in search of the perfect dessert, you can find me at my home studio where I'll painting new nail sets with my studio marisu partners. Thank you for swinging by my tiny corner of the internet! 👀
